A Golden Opportunity

Thanks to the generosity of my father’s good friend, who is a Notre Dame alumnus, my dad and I will get to experience college football at its finest when Notre Dame takes on Purdue in famed Notre Dame Stadium. This isn’t my first college football game ever (I went to a Miami-Syracuse game in the Carrier Dome a while back), but it most likely will be the most memorable. Forget that both team’s are unranked and probably headed for the PapaJohns.com Bowl. Notre Dame Stadium is the Mecca of college football, and Notre Dame one of the most storied programs in the sport’s history. All of you know my undying love for college football, so having the opportunity to watch Notre Dame play on Saturday is beyond awesome. While my college football allegiance still lies with the Miami Hurricanes, I certainly will be pulling for the Golden Domers on Saturday. Hopefully it will be a fun game to watch, and you can definitely expect a follow-up post when I return on Sunday.
