Shaq’s Hoping to Garner Lil’ Wayne’s Respect

By now you’ve all seen the now infamous tape of Shaq rapping about Kobe (amongst other players) at a NYC night club. It’s a shame when ESPN gets its hands on TMZ.com material and such because you just know that nothing good will ensue.
Upon showing the tape (edited of course for family friendly viewing) SportsCenter and it’s producers took it upon themselves to bring in as much analytical opinion about this incident as they could. Most of the cast of characters brought in to provide insight on the situation thankfully realized the plight that this rap carried. the Notorious S.A.S. and Jalen Rose (two of the smartest men on the planet) were both perceptive enough to realize that Shaq was just being the Big Daddy. Clearly there was isn’t any animosity between the former teammates, nor was O’Neal’s rap malicious in its content. Sure Shaq told Kobe to tell him how his ass tasted. But when hasn’t he said that in so many words. A few things of interest though did come from this freestyle…First, Shaq called himself "the BIG". False! There is only one BIG. That’s a fact. Two, Shaq had this to say about the rap afterward: "When I played with Kobe, me, him,
Brian Shaw, J.R. Rider, we had freestyle sessions all the time. … all
in fun and we said crazier stuff than that. If I hurt anyone’s
feelings, I apologize." Where are these tapes of B. Shaw and J.R. dropping bombs?!?! This is priceless stuff. Screw what he said about Kobe! I want a Rider-Shaw mixtape dropping soon.
