New York Mets manager Willie Randolph sits in the dugout before the

in jeopardy, Willie Randolph finally got fired by the New York Mets
early Tuesday June 17, while most fans were sleeping. Bench coach Jerry
Manuel takes over on an interim basis. Pitching coach Rick Peterson and
first base coach Tom Nieto also were cut loose.

Time for a Change

Capt7It’s going to be at least another six weeks before Yankees fans will get to see this site of Chien-Ming Wang walking off the bump in the Bronx. Why? Some say he should’ve known how to round the bases at Minute Maid. Others, like myself and Hank Steinbrenner, are in the boat that thinks that the rules of the NL are pointless and archaic.
