Not So Hot In Miami

Things are going far downhill for the Miami Heat as they lost their 14th game in a row last night. A team that won the NBA Finals in 2006, came into this season with a chip on their shoulder as they were swept in the first round of the playoffs last year. I guess that chip weighed them down a bit.
The Heat currently stand at 8-32, which is by far the worst record in the Eastern Conference, and is the second worst in the NBA only to the disgraceful Minnesota Timberwolves, who sit at 6-34. There aren’t really any reasons as to why this team is playing so poorly. All the pieces are there to be a contender in the Eastern Conference. The unstoppable scorer, Dwyane Wade, the big man, Shaq, the role players, Ricky Davis, Udonis Haslem, and Jason Williams, but for some reason, this team can’t win. At this point, they have gotten so down on themselves as you can see when watching a game, that this team has no chance of climbing out of this deep hole. In most of the games during this current 14 game streak, they have played well, and have been in the games, but they fall apart late which has been their problem all season. Miami needs to make a trade now before its too late. It could be time to throw the season, get a high draft pick, draft a great young point guard and try again next year.
