I want to start by congratulating the New England Patriots on a 16-0 season, with an extended congratulation to Tom Brady, who now holds the passing touchdown record of 50 in a season, and to Randy Moss, who now holds the receiving touchdown record of 23. Now, the playoffs are set, with the Redskins and Titans claiming the final two playoff positions in the AFC and NFC. These Stars of the Week really shined in their last games of 2007, and the 2007 NFL Regular Season.
QB: Tom Brady, New England Patriots
Not only did Brady break the touchdown record, but he threw for 356 yards along with his record setting touchdowns on 32-42 passing in the Patriots 38-35 win over the Giants to complete their perfect season.
RB: Clinton Portis, Washington Redskins
Portis rushed for 104 yards on 25 carries including two touchdowns as the Redskins advanced to the postseason with a 27-6 win over Dallas.
WR: Randy Moss, New England Patriots
Fellow record breaker caught 6 passes for 100 yards and the two record tying and breaking touchdown passes.
Defense: Antrel Rolle, Arizona Cardinals
Rolle picked off two passes and brought one of them back for a touchdown in the Cardinals blowout win over the Rams, 48-19.

2008 NFL Playoffs: Wild Card Round Preview
1) Tennessee Titans vs. San Diego Chargers
This is by far the most intriguing of the games this upcoming weekend, because it features two teams who are rolling coming into this game. The Titans are playing excellent defense, and if they can contain LT, the Chargers better watch out for Vince Young along with their excellent running game.
Prediction: San Diego Chargers
2) Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
It’s funny that the best games are both AFC matchups, but this will be another battle up in Pittsburgh, and once again, the Jaguars will be too much for them to handle.
Prediction: Jacksonville Jaguars
3) Washington Redskins vs. Seattle Seahawks
The Redskins are one of the hottest teams in the league right now, and don’t seem to want to slow down as they are playing in memory of Sean Taylor. Expect the Redskins to show the Seahawks up in Seattle.
Prediction: Washington Redskins
4) New York Giants vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Honestly, this game is boring. Neither team has been playing exciting football all season, but the Tampa Bay defense is too much for Eli Manning to handle. Easy win for the Buccaneers.
Prediction: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Hope you all enjoy the first round of the NFL Playoffs.
